Specialists In Ketamine Assisted Therapy
Caring Providers. Personalized Integrative Treatment Plan. Actualized Outcomes.
Our primary treatment modality is Ketamine Assisted Therapy (KAT). Ketamine is rapidly emerging as a psychedelic medicine of choice. Ketamine is safe, legal, short duration, and rarely produces negative "bad trips" that other psychedelics do. Ketamine treatment is proven to relieve anxiety and depression, and offers a unique experience of non-ordinary consciousness that - when properly integrated - promises to greatly enhance mental health and well being.
Perspective team members are involved in FDA Phase 3 MDMA and Psilocybin therapy trials. We plan to offer those modalities when they become legal in the State of Wisconsin.

Integration
-
Intake - Your experience will begin with a thorough intake designed to ensure psychedelic therapy is a good fit for you. The intake process includes a free initial consultation followed by telehealth visits with our staff psychologist and medical team.
-
Preparation - Next, you will have a telehealth prep session with your facilitating guide. During this time you will establish a therapeutic alliance and work together to create a safe and healthy set and setting for your first experience. We often collaborate with clients' regular psychotherapists as part of this process. Preparation is very important and typically include "homework" recommendations such as journaling or engaging in simple lifestyle practices like meditation, breathwork, laughing yoga, and movement. Our experience shows that the more a person thoughtfully prepares, the more likely a meaningful treatment outcome.
-
Experience - Then comes your first experience with the medicine. This session is in-person at our clinic. We will start you out with a low dose oral lozenge to help you ease into the process. That said, first encounters with the medicine are often quite powerful. (This is not a cannabis gummy!)
-
Integration - Your experiential session lasts for three to four hours. The first part this time is your experience with the medicine. As you come down from the peak experience (which lasts about 20-30 min) you will enter the "long tail" where you gently return to ordinary consciousness. During this time, integration begins. Integration is the processing of your experience with the support of your guide. You will have an integration session right after the experience, followed by one or more telehealth integration sessions with your guide in the weeks that follow. Integration is client-led and can lead to wonderful breakthroughs of self-understanding and healing self-love.

“From the start, Perspective made me feel really comfortable. What I really liked is that they were willing to collaborate with my therapist, who I love. During the session, the chatter in my mind slowed down and stopped. I was able to connect to feeling good, without the anxiety and depression. My guide helped me integrate that feeling and learn how to carry it with me into the everyday. Highly recommended!"
